"The property was lovely, great location if you have transport and don’t want be in the city and also super handy to the airport. Was very disappointed with the service after checking out and we had left an expensive item in the room. Took several days with phone calls, an email and several staff members to even action a look in the room or asking housekeeping. My item was not returned so therefore stolen/taken by either housekeeping or the next guests in the room. So disappointing! If actioned...

"This motel accommodates exactly what you need. It’s a reasonably priced motel, in a great location for the airport and is clean. There are minor renovations going on around the reception, and I hope they look at upgrading the bathrooms in the rooms next."

"Staff are great. The room needed a good airing out , a very damp and musky smell to the room. There was milk all dried up on the floor near the fridge. The bed was very bad, dont stay in room 404! The 2 king singles were so worn out, I had a sore back and hips with in a day or 2. I placed all the pillows on the bed and did my best to sleep."

"Was very clean and convenient, the beds were extremely comfortable and I slept amazing. Despite being right next to a busy road the noise isn’t a problem. There’s a bus stop less than two minutes away so very easy to get to the city. There are no lifts so be mindful of which floor you get put on if you need assistance with accessibility. "Clean room ,the mini kitchen was nice and clean as well ,i had a spa in my room that was lovely and undercover parking as well I could not fault the motel at all. The staff that I spoke too were very nice as well."

"The room was large and full of character with a pleasant outlook from the balcony. There was an affordable restaurant on-site with lots of options. The history of the property was fascinating."

"Bar closes at 11pm. Refused me service from 10.40pm but continued serving others. And no, I was not intoxicated. I had been told the bar was closing evidently. The latecomers had not. They were still there when I returned from the local pub. You are supposed to aspire to something adult, young lady (bar manager) and being a Karen is not being adult."

"We booked the Alcyone for a friends party being held at Eagle farm racecourse and Alcyone location was within close proximity. Couldn’t fault anything, rooms clean and comfortable, easy checkin and communication. Would highly recommend and stay again if the opportunity arises."

"The property is conveniently located near many Brisbane suburbs. But if you have anything you want to do in the city center, it's best to take a commuter train in. As for the room itself, it was clean-ish, but the carpet was sticky. The bed was fine. There's a very basic suburban bar attached to the hotel with decent food. The staff of the hotel are all super friendly."
