"We had a great stay at this 100-year-old Japanese home. The mix of traditional architecture and modern updates was impressive, and the house was clean, comfortable, and easy to settle into. Tadao, the host was very responsive and made communication a pleasure. We only wished we had booked a longer stay. Would definitely recommend a relaxing stay directly across the rd from the beach. "Our first visit to Japan began with 3 nights in Kamakura, a beautiful small coastal city. We chose WeBase due its great overall location and its proximity to Yuigahama station. The hotel is tucked away down a quiet street and you’d miss the entrance if you didn’t know it was there. Rooms are spotless and modern. "This place is a hidden gem. It's less than 10 minutes walk (we walk pretty fast) from the Fujisawa Station. On the way, there are plenty of restaurants and a grocery store. Our room was beautiful and spacious. We stayed in one of the rooms with a lift so it felt like a 2-bedroom for our party of 3.
