"Very bad experience. More like a motel in a lost island. Small boat to get in and out of island. Nice staff but dressed like young street people. Very few understood english. Rooms had bugs. Food suspicious (same person can be waiter, cook, room cleaner, baggage handler and boat operator). We booked for 5 nights at Sun Yi but we got there, we were in a less-quality hotel on island with no Internet (Rain Forest) because Sun Yi was closed due to storm damage 10 days before (we were not notified)....

"The mattress was slightly stained, perhaps the housekeeping team did not notice during check out cleaning but the team was very responsive and offered to change the bedsheets immediately. Property was slightly worn but clean. Property is walking distance to malls and there are convenient shops just downstairs, there’s also pool and gym facilities. Overall a good stay."
