Town and Country Inn & Resort

"Town and Country is the only hotel I could find within an easy (45 minute) drive to Mount Washington, as we had tickets for the Mount Washington Cog Railway. As it seems to be the only one nearby, there was quite a diverse population staying. The rooms were nice, even though we were in the back of the hotel. We took advantage of the pool and hot tub, and they were pretty good. While we didn't eat at the restaurant, the food did look delicious and the menu was pretty large."

"Comfortable. Liked that we had a sitting area with couch and coffee table. Loved the fun bears and moose they had in the lobby and on the first floor. Nice robes provided too. Would stay here again."

"The Omni stay and staff were amazing! I had an issue booking via a 3rd party, but the staff was very understanding and supportive in managing the issue. Both rooms we were placed in were extremely relaxing and upscale in their own special ways. We loved our room in the main hotel and in the Presidential suite. The views are priceless, and I can highly recommend the stables for all ages, 3-83 years young. The afternoon tea / cider and snacks made for a lovely introduction to other guests and their stories. We met so many interesting, humble, and open-hearted people during our stay. We had cocktails or food at each of the on-site options and loved them all. The food was great and the cocktails, original. We weren’t able to take the train ride but did take the gondola up for a dinner (with two 3 year olds), and the grilled cheese was devoured by all, as well as our own adult orders!"

"Clean and updated hotel at a good price. The room had a small balcony. Breakfast included was adequate. Pool and tennis courts were not really in use during this season. Staff was friendly and helpful."

"The suite rooms in Carriage house were roomy and nicely furnished. The bed height was extreme. My wife who is 5'3" had to climb up from narrow edge around the bed which is dangerous in middle of night. I had to jump up to get in bed. Not sure of the purpose of having the bed surface place so high above the floor. A foot stool for shorter people should be added or the bed lowered"

"Massive old wooden grand resort hotel from the early 1900’s - well maintained - not as grand as the Mt Wash but still quite nice — nice bar — outstanding breakfast - we stayed two nights - room was not maintained for second day - that surprised us but it may have been one of those @beds made upon request@ deals that are more common these days — we had a two room suite that was very spartanly furnished but all in all a quality stay for the price — we’ve been before and will likely stay again when we’re in the Mt Wash area"
