A very quaint and well maintained inn nestled in the White Mountains. Staff was very friendly and the inn keeper , Nancy, made a point of welcoming all guests and inquiring of their stay at the inn. Food was well prepared and fresh.
So pastoral and quiet, service was excellent, breakfast on the porch was great, bartender very knowledgeable and friendly, great drinks. A great getaway from the city!
This is a beautiful boutique hotel/inn. The service was second to none. The restaurant had a creative menu and the food was delicious. You could order breakfast from the menu and it was part of the room rate valued at approximately $25. The grounds were well kept with a wonderful rural mountain feel. There is also a hot tub in every room.
There was nothing about Thorne Hill that we disliked. The Staff from the front desk to housekeeping were friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going again.
We absolutely loved our stay at the Inn at Thorn Hill! Everything was amazing from start to finish. The inn was beautiful, quaint, and exceptionally clean, and every staff member we came in contact with was so kind and welcoming.
The view from our room was absolutely gorgeous and made our stay even more special. You can really tell how much care goes into making this place such a wonderful experience for guests.
We didn’t have dinner at the inn this time, but we’ve heard so many amazing things and definitely plan to try it on our next visit. We will absolutely be back!
Fantastic honeymoon stay!! Extremely delicious food—dinner and breakfast were second to none! Very friendly staff, beautiful views, and a magical stay.
From the time we walked up to this gorgeous inn, we were throughly impressed.
Our room was the cleanest room I have ever stayed in. They truly proved us with everything we needed to relax and enjoy our stay right away. We loved the fireplace, extra fluffy towels, comfortable bed, welcome prosecco and chocolates, daily cider and cookies in the lounge and the incredible wrap around porch complete with the view of autumn leaves with a fire burning in the fire pit. The attention to detail was amazing!
From the owner, who checked us in, to each and every waitstaff serving us for our four night stay for breakfast and one dinner, we were also blown away by the warmth of the staff and willingness to go the extra mile with sightseeing advice, etc. It was the perfect first visit to New England and 30th anniversary celebration. Thank you!
Really nice and historic room with a hot tub in the bath room. The view on the restaurant balcony is amazing. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Will visit again.
Great stay except TV does not work and AC is very loud. I open led the bathroom room window and let the fresh air in at 2nd night to get better sleep
Tub works well and rob and bed are very comfortable
Breakfast with great view
I’ve stayed at Thornhill several times. The experience is phenomenal from the beginning to end. The check-in process is wonderful. The rooms are all absolutely beautiful. The dinner is so good. I would drive there just for dinner if I didn’t have time to stay the night. Everybody is kind and everybody is eager to assist you with anything you need. I highly recommend.
We love the Inn at Thorn Hill! Great home base for day hikes and to do some shopping. The breakfasts and dinners are amazing, the staff incredibly helpful, and there is nothing better than a warm cookie in the afternoon after a mountain adventure. We’ll be back soon for our 4th stay!
Breakfast was delicious and plentiful,
Grounds are well maintained and pretty.
The inn is kept up nicely.
Clean rooms and the staff was extremely helpful and cheerful
The Inn has a lovely setting and a wrap around porch that enables guests to enjoy the views and beautiful weather. We ate all our meals outside although there was also a very nice dining room. Highly recommend having meals at the Inn - the food was a step above your typical fine dining experience yet it wasn’t stuffy. We stick to wine but it was clear many of the guests were enjoying craft cocktails handcrafted by the bartender. We stayed in the Mount Washington suite. Lots of room, comfortable seating, beautiful views. We will definitely return the next time we are in the area.
Spent our 37th Anniversary there, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Had a wonderful massage Jonna again, she makes your body feel brand new, as usual the Tuckerman’s suite was beautiful and comfortable. We have been going to this inn since 1998 and has never let us down. Looking forward to going back.
