Very expensive parking Not friendly reception The resturant upstairs is a separate company!! We wanted to get coffee at the morning, but they wanted to force us to get breakfast. Not respectful at all! They do not even care about customer satisfaction!

Very knoweldgeable and helpful front desk people, arrived in the middle of the night, made it easy to check in and get settled. Great location to the Tram to old city, good resturants around and helpful suggestions for a Turkish bath! Have major construction going on nearby which they can't do anything about-but quiet at night. Would recommend -good price and service.

The place is very nice for the money. The rooms are clean. If you leave the windows open it’s very noisy. The rooftop restaurant is very nice. The breakfast served there is amazing

Good view and located in the town center. The hotel is very close to Galata tower. The bedroom was nice and clean and the bathroom was very spacious. Great staff and accomodating.

Fair priced hotel in Galata
Minimalist modern hotel at the base of Galata hill, offers you an excellent access to all major attractions in Istanbul. Very clean rooms, medium sized, with an upgraded bathroom and working air conditioner. Also an excellent breakfast with local menus.

This hotel is a great choice. It’s very well located, has near bakeries, cafe’s and restaurants. Also near some of Istanbul’s attractions. Our plan was to initially stay 2 nights however we had an emergency last minute and the hotel and staff specially Fatih, were very helpful and attentive and allowed us to modify our reservation due to our emergency. Although our stay was short, it was a great experience

Good for the price, excellent service!
This is a very clean hotel to sleep and that’s about it. The service by the front desk is excellent!. I booked a family room that consisted in two connected corner rooms with a common entrance. The first one was disgusting, it looked like someone had seated in the bed and the bathroom towels were wet and yellow. The front desk guy was very apologetic and quickly moves us to another in the opposite side of the same floor. Those two were perfect and mine had a balcony. We had problems with the keys every day but they helped with a smile and that hospitality that only Turkey has. There are no bars or restaurants in the hotel but they would accommodate any need with a simple phone call. Now, the rooms need improvement, although the cleaning lady do a great job, the mattress at my room 402 it’s stained and disgusting. The fridge can get a good cleaning too by the way. Also the cover is dirty and stained. Moving on, the location could not be better. There are restaurants and shops. The Galata bridge is one block away. 10 minutes walk to the spice Baazar. Would I stay there again? Absolutely!

Clean bathroom. Don’t forget to tip the cleaning lady!

Overall it was okey, pictures are better then the condition of the hotel. Line in the elevator most of the time.. Tok a upgraded room can't really say that it was something special. We had good help to get some document that was damand from government convid times. Restaurant and wiew points are cancelled or full booked for people who is only there for the restaurant. Good stay for a weekend if you will get a good offer price .

Cozy Boutique Hotel!
Great location in the old part of the city. Hotel staff is exceptionally accommodating and very helpful. The suite room consisted of 2 connecting rooms, both with balconies. Each room had large and comfortable beds. The air conditioning worked but it struggled to keep the rooms cool during the daytime.

Great location, small rooms but ok for few nights, very noisy rooms , you can hear traffic during the night, very friendly staff at front desk and restaurant (Burak and Gunes) , roof terrace has a stunning view , breakfast was just ok, ( run out boiled eggs one morning it was only 8.30 am asked member of staff (not Gunes) and he said that’s it no more boiled eggs :) it was funny to be honest ,I would probably stay there again just need to bring ear plugs with me next time.

I reserved a three bed room for three people. The room had one dabble bed and one sofa bed which was not comfortable at all. I appreciate that the hotel manager tried to rectify the issue after my initial review. However, all they could offer was opening another sofa bed. When I was checking out, they gave me a receipt all written in turkish and ask me to sign it. When I told the receptionist that I cannot understand even a word of this receipt therefore I cannot sign it. He get angry, raise his voice and repeating: madam it is your receipt, you don’t need to pay, sign it!!! I paid the room in euro and upfront. The receipt was in turkish lire. So even I couldn’t figure out the amount I paid to sing it based on that. After I insisted I cannot sign some thing I don’t understand, the receptionist took the papers in a rood manner and say ok go. Goodbye! As the good portion of their guest are not Turkish, I suggest they prepare their receipt in English as well as Turkish. Instead of having rood approach to their guests, and make them to sign a paper by raising their voice.

Little GEM in Istanbul ... Good VALUE!
This is a practical and affordable place ... Reasonably modern and clean, yet close to the FUN "lively" part of Karakoy (offering late night bars and many restaurants) which is only 5 minutes walk. Close to Galata Bridge and water-front and Galata Tower, the area is well serviced by public transport and is walking distance (between 30 to 40 minutes) to Taksim's main Shopping Boulevard at one end and Grand Bazar on the other (depending on if you head right uphill or left across the bridge) … There is a convenient "Roof-Top Restaurant" offering a great view, which is very popular (amongst the locals too) and the staff are both efficient and helpful and that makes a BIG difference in Istanbul too!

First day in the first floor, next to the Main Street; so noisy that sleeping was almost impossible. Second day, after room change (kind offer, thanks), AC couldn’t be turned off in the new room, therefore first freezing then hot (after we took out the card to turn all electricity in the room off). Also transfer from one room to the other was problematic as our luggage was forgotten on the hallway. Very good location, and last time stay was perfect; service quality this time was improvable, or maybe bad luck

The Haze Karakoy has a great location with easy access to the metro system. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. Street noise is significant from 10pm until the early morning, so be prepared. There was also a significant amount of street light that pours into the room at night.

Family weekend stay
All good overall. Room nice, only thing to complain was water in the shower which had very low pressure and changed temperature all the time; and the toilet flush which worked hardly. Service very good, we were even offered free breakfast even though we had not booked that. Area is great (if you know your way around; we’re locals), quite central and lots of cafes etc around.
