There's nothing wrong with the nearport per se - No-one's going to go there and stay for a week as it's an airport hotel and as such it ticks the boxes. Breakfast is a bit basic but it's included so can't complain. The shuttle bus works OK and the staff were helpful. I arrived late and left early so can't comment too much. There appears to be a few restaurants around so some dining options. On the return leg, I stayed at the ISG at the airport... That's a much better hotel at the same price.

It's because I respect and like the Manager, Mr. Yildray am giving 4 stars. If not, I would give 3 stars as I did not sleep all night, lots of noise, banging on the walls. Have been here in this hotel for a long time now, almost 2 months

I arrived late and was able to eat nearby at a very reasonably priced restaurant that was still open. It was about a block away. Safe area, quiet. Very nice staff. Very helpful.

Good Hotel with one flaw for me
Generally very happy staying at the Nearport. The hotel is well located to the airport and local services, it is clean, the staff are professional and helpful. Absolutely great service when it comes to an airport transfer, from and to the airport. My only qualm about staying here in the future was the qualify of the WIFI connection. I was frequently kicked off and had to keep signing in again when trying to use it and the wifi was slow. If you are a business traveler or anyone that relies on a good connection this is problematic. I hope that they can work on fixing this. All other aspects of the hotel are good to excellent.

We need 1 hour to check in because the receptionist didn’t know English and he wanted covid-19 test results- I didn’t understand why, also at the morning the didn’t serve us breakfast because the restaurant didn’t work because of Covid-19 restriction. I never in my life have such us disappointed experience, disaster

I can assure you that our receptionist perfectly understood you but without your test results it is not legally possible to check into the hotel. This is a rule applied by a Turkish government for the health of all our hotel guests and employees. Our restaurant is working until 3 pm because of Covid-19 restrictions yes but it is not the reason you didn't get breakfast your reservation is Room Only you can order breakfast by paying extra but open buffet is between 07:00-10:00 am . After this period you can order for extra breakfast untill 3:00 pm. Best ergards,

Best stay in istanbul sabiha gokcen airport!
My overnight stay was absolutely great, particularly in these restricted times due to the COVID 19 pandemic restrictions and i had a long stop over between 2 flights through Sabiha Gokcen airport onward to europe. I called them upon arrival and the pickup was immediately arranged. It is a 6 mins drive form airport to hotel (arrived at midnight). The checking was very fast. Room was without a carpet, which was great as i have an allergy and it is also much cleaner that way. I was impressed by the clean room, beautiful shower; clean tv remote wrapped as well as all towels. The breakfast was an amazing surprise: buffet breakfast neatly covered and spread behind a plexi glass with the chef behind ready to serve on your plate anything you choose. An omelette also was made and brought to the table, coffee at the bar. Leaving for the airport was paid for as the shuttle was restricted due to covid. Manager called and paid the taxi for the airport drop off at the time i needed. I would definitely recommend anyone passing through or staying in Istanbul for a short trip. Excellent service, super friendly staff who speak english. Will definitely come again and again!

Within a few minutes of Sabiha Gökçen airport so ideal location for early morning flight. Hotel clearly applying COVID-19 protocol so felt completely relaxed. Rooms spacious, clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to Sabiha airport. We were very pleased with the staff and their professionalism, kindness and helpfulness. The room was great, clean and of good size. It is a very clean hotel and quiet. The location was perfect because there are many restaurants and shops right outside that you can walk to. And there was a free shuttle ready and waiting for us in the morning to take us to the airport. Will stay here again!

Free Shuttle Transfer as well
Chosen because of excellent free shuttle service. Rang the Hotel & it came within 5 minutes. Good clean room, as expected with good breakfast. Expect the hotel to be quiet but very close to eating places & supermarkets
