Awesome hotel

This review comes with a huge gratitude to the Grand Beyazit Hotel staff. Everyone, without exception, was very sweet and accommodating. Directed me to a good shopping places, suggested tours and restaurants. Breakfast is included and that is a big plus. Surrounding area is verry safe and conveniently located only minutes away from the main attractions. My room was cleaned and tidied every day. THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR THE AMAZING STAY! Highly recommended!

We stayed one night and the experience was great! We will stay there again. Staff spoke English, facility is remodeled and very clean. Breakfast was included and they had a good variety of food.

Staff were not helpful, rude. They did not offer a tissue box. Even when we asked for one. The room ceiling was wet and it had yellow stain. Shower and wash stand did not have a wall to seperate the bathroom and shower.

Not helping a guest is not something possible for us - especially for tissue, toilet paper, etc. We assume there must have been a miscommunication between you and our staff. Our hotel is a design hotel. In most of the rooms, there is a bathroom area and the sink is in the room but the shower and the toilet have their own space with their own doors. It may be unorthodox for you but it could have been easily checked from the photos of our hotel before booking. We wish we had a chance to explain and clarify everything when you were here. I might come back if I have another opportunity to visit Istanbul. So far, the hotel located in a strategic and historical location such as, grand bazaar, the mosque and so on! However, there was a little bit of communication issue with some stuffs, rather than that everything went well and enjoyed my stay!

The staff were helpful and lovely. The property is very conventiently located to the Grand Bazaar and other attractions. However, the beds were really awful, lumpy, hard and short. My husband is 6'0 and his feet hung over. We didn't say anything and probably should have but be aware that they were not good! The free breakfast was not worth eating and didn't partake.

I only have good things to say for this hotel. 10/10 rating in all aspects. A special shoutout to the staff at reception Ercen,Feroza,Farhan.... They went out of their way to help me with anything and everything i needed. The hotel is so classy, breakfast was so good. Staff were always friendly and helpful. The rooms were super clean and showers worked so awesomely. I had no issues or complaints. The manager also checked on us at breakfast. This type of service makes any guest want to return. I will definately be coming back in the future. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. Ive visited many hotels in Istanbul. This 1 was just 1 of the best ive stayed at.

The hotel stole our money. They gave us a smaller room than the one with pictures we reserved and confirmed although We paid in advance with a CC. They gave our room to other family who paid more at the time of arrival without telling us . Their logic is that it is the market and they go with the wind. So if there is a price inflation for your room you will be unhappily surprised at your arrival. That what the hotel reservations manager admitted to us in person when we complained. She has no problem admitting it because they think they still getting US, European and Canadian customers in holiday seasons despite their bad reviews. WARNING: Most probably you will not get the room you reserved. ROOM Pictures are FAKE and what u see is NOT what u get. By US srsndarfs this is barely a 2 star hotel. The hotel is dirty. Carpet is old and and bath has mold. Hotel is under staffed and house keeping is not what u expect. I have picture but no not allowed to upload.

Great location
The location of the hotel is great. There is a tran/train line near by and connects you to other parts of Istanbul. All the tourist attracrions are within walking distance. The location or istanbul in general isnt suitable for families with young children due to no proper insfrscture of pavements and traffic. The hotel is now in a car free zone so make sure you contact the hotel before hand regarding best ways to get there. There are hills surronding the hotel so be aware of that too. Overall ot is a nice hotel for a budget stay and we would stay again

Overall stay at this hotel was ok. Communication with this hotel was very substandard when booking. Before arriving I was told that I would receive information of where the driver would meet us at the airport for transportation. I didn’t receive anything until the day of and after we landed. The airport shuttle fee of 70 TL that’s listed on the website isn’t accurate. You have to pay the hotel €40, which still isn’t bad due to the distance and hectic traffic to get to the hotel, however, the prices should reflect the same so people wont be surprised with the change in cost. The hotel is located in a great area, and it’s very close to the Grand Bazaar and other restaurants and department stores. The room was ok. The walls are really thin and you can hear everything and everyone walking by. When booking for this hotel, I would suggest you pay CLOSE attention to your bank account because the hotel will charge you for the first night WITHOUT telling you , despite what the website says. We were supposed to pay for everything upon arrival but they took it upon themselves to go ahead and charge us for the first night. My biggest issue was the overall information that is provided on the hotels.com app is completely different from what the hotel actually provides. Spa services were great, and so was the breakfast (0700 - 1000), many options and good quality food. Istanbul was a great experience, but Grand Beyazit Hotel could use some administration improvement.

1-I reserved but with option the pay cash in check-in,the hotel they let me pay per the currency rate of the euro not as my reservation fees was and they had charge me 49.99 euro after the reservation without let me know why then i called them they told me its as payment for the first night, when i did check in and i want to pay they let me pay more then my reservation fees (total fees was 399.92 euro equal to 442.24$) they let me pay 407$ which is more 399.92-49.99= 349.93 euro i should pay 385.02$ as per currency of my reservation 2-some of the staff was unfriendly 3- the room was nice recommended for couples but the service wasn't that good the don't change the cup of water for the 5 days till i called the reception and i used the cotton and they didn't but any more new one. 4- bed was comfort. 5- room isn't sound proof i can hear every step behind the walls and door 6-breakfast was very poor and some dishes are tasteless, staff was freindly in breakfast room

If you are not planning to do major shopping it’s crazy area of Istanbul. Hotel itself isn’t bad but nothing to write home about.
