"Awesome location, directly across the street from the beach. No AC in main part of house. AC ran great in all bedrooms. Hot tub was not operational, and there was not toilet seat on one of the toilets. Manager said owner was shipping one from US, but never arrived. No daily housekeeping, refrigerator did not get or stay cold. And taxis we arranged for pick up to leave, never arrived. We were allotted one towel per person, and had to ask to get them changed out. "The room was very clean, staff was friendly, garden and pool well kept. The beach bar is not exactly at the beach, so service at the beach could be improved. There was a waiter taking orders there, but often he wasn’t available. Beach in front of the hotel is beautiful, and we felt very safe. Special shout out for the animals living at the property. Lizards, birds, racoons (not the trashy ones) and dogs. "

"Excellent hotel In holbox isla with friendly staff and few minutes from the beach as well as 10-15 mins walk from the main square. Overall great value for money but the ac wasn’t all that big strong given the heat in peak may when we went but the staff were super friendly. The rooms also had a nice rustic feel to it so surely would recommend this place when you visit holbox island"

"We had a wonderful 4 night stay! The travel time to the island was very lengthy when you take into consideration your flight, transportation from the airport to the Holbox ferry (took us approx 2.5 hours) and then the ferry ride itself (about 20 minutes). It ended up being around a 14 hour travel day for us by air, shuttle, ferry and side by side! So very worth it. The villas were adorable, the only issue with us was our villa was upstairs and the stairs were difficult for my older mother (no elevators in resort). The staff was amazing, room was impeccably clean, food was fantastic and the entire villa was well groomed daily. Walking distance to the beach and downtown was doable, side by side taxis were available within minutes to take you into town if you did not want to walk in the heat. I would give 5 stars and would highly recommend to anyone!"
