"The hotel is stylish and relaxing. The location is close to lots of dining and shops but located in a quiet area. The pool, lobby, and restaurant all occupy one large space but it feels less like a hotel and more like a tropical rain forest inside. The lush greenery is breathtaking and refreshing. Every detail is carefully chosen to fit the aesthetic design of the hotel. I highly recommend the breakfast upgrade for guests but even without including it in the room price, the food is a great value and did not disappoint. The selection of both Western and Indonesian cuisine in addition to the fresh fruit juices made eating at the Art Kitchen Resto a treat. One other thing to mention is the dedication to sustainable tourism. The hotel does a wonderful job at helping to make guests aware of eco-friendly options such as reusable glass bottles in guestrooms instead of disposable plastic and signage about disposing of items properly instead of flushing it to preserve clean oceans. I definitely plan to stay again."

"Had a wonderful stay at adisthana. Felt so homey after a long day full of adventures. They had a really calming atmosphere and the hotel is close to town. Loved it!"

"I enjoyed my 6 days there. I was a solo female tourist. The staff always went beyond to meet my needs. The electric sockets in Indonesia are unique in that they are round and sunken. So my square universal plug did not fit. Their engineering quickly found a spare conversion socket for me to use. They were happy to fill up my water bottle with ice whenever I asked. Always with a friendly smile. Breakfast became my favourite meal. They have an Indonesian buffet every morning. So I had the opportunity to try various local foods. There is a supermarket a 3 minute walk for snacks etc. My only issue was that it was a 20k to 30k grab taxi ride to the city tourist sites. Although for tours outside of Jogya the operators picked me up from the hotel. Trendy Prawirotanam though is only a short walk or @ 10k taxi ride. Some nice / western type restaurants there. The property itself is slightly aging. But adequate. I missed having a fridge in the room mostly so I could have cool drinking water. There is no iron either. But I asked for one and was quickly sent one. They seem to have many tour groups staying overnight. Sometimes I found them to be a little noisy in the corridors late at night and early in the morning. Also there is a mosque close-by that has a call to prayer at 3am (short - could sleep through) and 4am (long. I couldn't sleep through). Overall a very pleasant stay. I would stay again and recommend it. Very good value for money. "
