"We are return customers from 3 years ago. Seems as if the property is ran differently than previous. Everything was pretty standard for a 1 night stay.
My only complaint was the provided breakfast. We arrived at their breakfast at 7:30am. They started serving at 7am. By 7:30, the staff had alerted us they were mostly out of food which was apparent. No dishes either. I understand they can get busy, but poor planning led to this. All of the guests didn’t walk in from the street. They were booked...

"Room had a left over crotch towel from the previous guest hanging up on the shower curtain rail. We carefully removed it and placed it in the hallway, and it was promptly picked up by the time we left the room 30 minutes later.

"We had a relaxing stay. The spa includes two hot tubs, a sauna, and some lounge chairs and we visited twice during our stay. It gets busier at night when people are winding down but we had an activity during the day and came back and no one else was in the spa area mid-day. Breakfast choices were a full range of pastries, fruit, breads, eggs (variety) similar to a European hotel breakfast. They do have storage lockers right by reception if you are checking out early but want to store bags...

"Mountain view(some construction going on off to the side). Slight traffic and snow plows through the night on nearby road. The Dome inside was beautiful and peaceful with everything you need. "The hotel spa and evening restaurant was very pleasant. Staff in the main restaurant and spa lovely, though younger members may need training. Delivered wrong drinks and brought the bread with the soup after the meal was served but were very apologetic and lovely. Food was excellent,
Staff in the breakfast area however rude and ignorant. Ended up making an official complaint. It was a mixed bag really. Some customer training required to improve standards. "

"This is one of the most disappointing experiences during our Iceland trip. The room is incredibly small, and the bathroom is tiny!! Also, the location of the hotel is not very desirable; we stayed at two other hotels in Reykjavik, and those experiences were exceptional compared to this property.
