Nice location , at domestic airport not to busy good breakfast
The staff are very helpful. The property is not downtown in all the traffic but a very short drive in. It is clean, quiet, and the bedding is comfortable. Breakfast is available for an additional cost but parking is free. It is moderately priced and convenient.
Loved having the spa pass which really helped with adjusting to the new time and jet lag! Liked watching the airport sky activity too. Buffet was excellent! Room was very nice.
Thanks to the desk and transport staff for making checking in and out and transports go so smoothly!
We enjoyed our stay here even though I booked the wrong hotel thinking this is right next to the KEF airport - but instead it was the wrong airport! Ha, it was fine, and the hotel helped with booking the Flyaway bus so that we got to our airport on time. I'd recommend this hotel, it's tucked away and very quiet, but not too far from downtown Reykjavic.

I used the spa facilities and they where so nice, the staff was realy nice and the floating pool was divine!
Walkable location—about 15 minutes from a geothermal pool and a mile from the city center. It’s not a bad walk, just lots of construction happening. Rooms and amenities were as expected. I wish the gym was better maintained. Breakfast was delicious. I enjoyed the hints of Icelandic breakfast like skyr and cod liver oil shots. More food variability and chicken/turkey options would have been great—only pork containing sausage and bacon was available.
Fresh and well appointed lobby, rooms are clean and comfortable for 2 people plus luggage.
Satt Restaurant was stellar, fabulous buffet; food feels more ala carte than buffet.
Staff were helpful and happily arranged airport transport for us.
Overall we had a nice stay here. The staff is nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good with lots of options. The room could use a little love as there are marks on the wall and is a bit dated . The spa and free parking are an added bonus as well as the convenient location.
Staff great, food was great, location was easy enough to navigate, but I wasnt expecting a taxi into the city 10 minutes away would cost $30. I loved the amenities, I really just wish they were open longer especially the spa. The check in and check out process was quick and easy. This is my first time in Iceland so I don't have a comparison. I would appreciate more items in the snack area such as souvenirs, a better selection of alcohol, and a microwave. Yes I wish the rooms had a microwave.

Lovely friendly staff great food and breakfast too
Rooms were small and the shower was tiny. I could barely turn around while taking a shower. Staff was very polite and friendly and the rooms were clean. Free parking was a huge bonus. Location was kind of far, but that was fine with me. If i come back to Iceland, I would stay here again.
Wonderful hotel near downtown. Staff was friendly and helpful. Add the breakfast option to your room as the buffet was delicious! Would stay here again for sure!
This hotel offered clean rooms in a location close to downtown. It was next to the Reykjavík regional airport. The outside of the building is unattractive, but inside is very nice. The staff was friendly and breakfast was delicious.

Ok but not great hotel that caters to large groups. During our stay, there were three or four large groups, either large group tours or groups of people who were getting on or off a cruise ship. This made the facilities quite crowded, especially the restaurant.
The location is actually not very good - it would be a long walk to the city center, so everyone we saw going to see the sights was taking a taxi. At least the taxi service was efficient; the front desk would call and a taxi would show up in 5 minutes or so. There are no taxis that hang out at the hotel, so you have to call.
The amenities were adequate. The room was nice and clean, but otherwise unremarkable. We did not use room service or the spa, so no comment on those.
Overall, it's ok for a night if you need to just sleep somewhere. I do not recommend it as a base for exploring Iceland in general and especially Reykjavik; there are other decent hotels that are much better located.
We had a deluxe family room which was great and well designed. Everyone had a decent bed and there was loads of additional space so we had lots of room and didn't feel cramped at all. Had to hunker down one day due to weather and was all fine. The little forest by the Perlan was lovely in the snow. A little bit on the edge of town but worth it for everything else.
