"A truly wonderful stay over the festive period. The new spa is lovely and room 452 was SO quiet and spacious, highly recommended. The only downside which I pointed out two years ago is that the shower lets the room down as it’s not powerful enough and looks dated too. A short taxi ride or lovely walk into the centre with everything you could wish for. Please note valet parking is £39.50 and the Soa £45 per person in addition to the room. "Was disappointed to find that there was no available gym in the hotel, even though it is advertised as such. The sofa bed in the room was broken, as was the air-conditioning. Staff attempted to fix it but didn’t make a difference. When we visited, there was a pile of mattresses sitting in the lobby. Surely there’s a better way to manage this. We shared our complaints with staff at the hotel but they showed little interest so I hope management will take note "

"This is an excellent hotel. Very good value for money, there is a free breakfast with lots of items. It is run of the mill standard English breakfast coffee options and juices and eggs. The hotel is located bang in the middle of town, right next to Clifford's hill. Book with confidence when traveling with families, you cant go wrong with Hampton Hilton York Piccadilly. "

"The hotel is located a 15 minute walk into the city but with some restaurants and pubs close bye. It is very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was excellent and so were the staff. Our room was small but adequate and very clean. We would stay there again."
