"The rooms were spotless and the staff both at reception and housekeeping were kind and courteous. We stayed in an access room and it met our needs for wheelchair access. A small bugbear was having to hold the door open to gain access to the room.
We will be going again next week for another 5 night stay."

"Everything about our stay was perfect. The room was very clean, bed extremely comfortable. What stood out most was the efficiency and friendliness of the staff. Particularly friendly and efficient was Karen in the restaurant. She was welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We went to breakfast and 2 of our party had special dietary requirements. Karen went out of her way to answer any questions we had and was very knowledgeable. We will definitely return."

"Great stay staff are so nice special mention for Sandra on reception my phone was messed up due to my lack I t skills she spend 40 mins helping me out obviously sorting her customers out perfectly at the same time my I t department praised me having great skills to sort out the problems not knowing it was her.
Above and beyond the call of duty.

"The staff was very friendly and helpful with all of our questions. Location is close to University of Hertfordshire, shopping and bus stop to St. Albans. Room was spotless and comfortable. No coffee in the room. Just tea and cookies. Highly recommend this lovely hotel."

One issue - our shower screamed when it turned on and wouldn’t stop. Probably an airlock. No quarms however. Great breakfast"
