"Just had two nights. We got the last remaking room which was described as “cosy” which it was. Very well appointed, all the food we had at breakfast on two mornings, and dinner one evening was very good. Although busy service was excellent, and all the staff without fail were a credit to the hotel. Very, very pleased with the whole visit, and would not hesitate to stay again."

"Beautiful old building with spacious rooms but ambience and decor are stunted by poor management and maintenance. The bed frame was too big for the mattress, leaving a 1/2 foot gap all round the bed in which the meagre pillows often got lost. The mattress was too big for the bed linen. Everything seemed to be falling into disrepair - window screens with gaping holes, paint peeling off the walls. Our first morning there, they ran out of eggs at breakfast! Suffice to say, we didn’t stay for...

"This is a place for when you want to toyally switch off, relax and gave a great nights sleep. Having no TV on the room, meant we went to bed early, heard no a sound all night and came away fully refreshed after one night. There are a couple of nice pubs and restaurants in walking distance and the Thai Orchid is fab."

"The hotel access is all code based so there is no staff on site. That being said the communication with host is great cia text/whatsApp - instant and prompt replies. Affordable too and great location right next to High Wycombe station. "
