"The property is very clean, beautiful and well refurbished and right in the heart of Marlow. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food itself (breakfast) was a bit poor but OK. We didn't have any hot water to take a shower unfortunately but stayed only 1 night anyway. The room itself which was the only one available during booking was very very snug and air circulation at night made a bit stuffy but we would visit again , hopefully get a bigger room and hot water."

"We love this place but it is getting tired. The maintenance is in need of an uplift and the rooms and lounge areas need a refit. Still a lovely stay and Sindhu was excellent for lunch. The reception staff for the hotel were OK but lacked motivation to welcome their guests with any enthusiasm. Breakfast was excellent and the setting for the hotel sets this apart from most."

"We booked this property because it was very close to a venue we were attending a wedding at, I had booked three rooms and requested one room to be a twin, despite me telephoning twice to check, but when we checked in it was still made up as a double, but it was quickly rectified. "Certainly not as nice as the photos make out. We would not stay again and do not recommend it. Poor nights sleep for many reasons. Not a good shower. Smelly bathroom, noisy fridge, very light in room at night due to fire exit light in room ...hard pillows. Also very glad breakfast wasn't included based on what we saw. Overpriced for what it is. "

"A nice clean room, friendly and helpful staff. The pillows were overly firm, a "pillow menu" is available but we arrived late and decided not to use this. The air conditioning actually workd and cooled the room to the point where I had to increase the temperature and turn don the fan speed. The breakfast tasted amazing, nicely cooked food that hadn't gone dry even by 9:30! All big wins - thank you"

"Loved it! The hotel very kindly accommodated our request for a room with a shower instead of a bath. Lovely courtyard room, which was very quiet despite the outdoor seating area for the bistro being very close. Good bar with very friendly staff. The area was ideal for exploring Henley. Just around the corner from the river and the rowing course, and around another corner to the main shopping/eating/drinking areas. Would definitely stay again.
