"This place is really nice but could be something amazing with a bit more TLC. The room we stayed in was extremely spacious but could do with a little bit of renovation. The staff were kind and helpful. The view from the decking was lovely and tranquil and the kids loved the farm animals! Would stay again for sure "

"Responded promptly to a point we made about the shower - NEW shower!! Breakfast AWESOME never ate at lunchtime for four days as breakfast so plentiful. Fan was changed out on day 2 (thank you we did not request this so a nice gesture). "

"What a lovely little find. 5 mins off the M1, but set in the grounds of an old vicarage and very quiet and tranquil. Lovely welcome from the owners, shown my room which was lovely and spotless. Shared kitchen area had everything, cooker, fridge, coffee machine… basically everything you need. You can use the garden area which had seating and tables which was lovely just to listen to the peace and quiet in the sunshine. "Perfect stay for what we needed. Rooms recently redone was a very comfortable stay. Staff were friendly particularly the guy who worked Sunday and all day Monday! Great that we could park, bar was good, everything was clean and we had a nice breakfast. Plus we had a great 2 nights sleep. Not too noisy and very well priced. Great location. "

"A lovely country pub. The landlady was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Plenty of tea and coffee sachets in the room. The food was exceptional and the breakfast was amazing. Even freshly brewed coffee which you do not get in hotels. We were pleasantly surprised."
