Wonderful staff! I arrived after they closed and they stayed up very late to make sure I got in ok. They helped me with a taxi from the station to their property. Went above and beyond!
If you are looking at this place, ask for the Harrod room. Kingsize bed and big bathroom with a stand alone roll top bath and separate shower. If you were a romantic couple, you wouldn’t leave this room. Comfortable Bar area and small restaurant with a full menu from Tuesday to Sunday. Pizza night on a Monday.
Excellent parking. There is some road noise but it’s Ok.
Disappointed by no food being offered should have been told before booking

Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
Only told the night before due to arrive that pub was closed on a Tuesday- would have cancelled if known sooner. Meant had to let ourselves in through back yard & no opportunity for drinks etc Nothing to say that was closed on booking site or in previous communications. Room ok, bed too soft.

Bad experience with this hotel.
They weren’t severing food on a Monday - this wasn’t clear on the booking. Not much else around for a few miles.
Room wasn’t the best as spiders were living in corners (family so they had been there a while), bathroom fan didn’t work, and shower door was off the rails.
Additionally on arrival the staff member informed myself about a live band here tonight - I probably wouldn’t have booked if I knew this information as I needed an early night.
