We did not hear any planes overhead despite being less than ten minutes' drive from the airport. Staff were courteous upon our arrival and helped us schedule the airport shuttle for early next morning. There are several restaurants well within walking distance as well which are all highly rated. We would highly recommend the Melià Barajas to anyone looking for a beautiful hotel close to the Madrid Barajas airport!"
