This was a nice place to stay close to the Madrid airport. Friendly staff, quiet place, nice furnishings with plenty of space for us.

ESCALA ESCAPE

Pleasant stay in nice neighbourhood. Shopping centre and eateries 10 minutes walk away. 15 mins walk to metro station Canillejas. Close to airport and about 10€ by BOLT.

Excellent place to stay, convenient location for going to airport, quiet neighborhood eventhough is a school in front of it. Places to eat and drik close to it. 8 minutes walking from and to airport bus stop

I enjoyed the accomodation because it was walking distance from Shopping center and Restaurants. Conveniently located, taxi Bolt comes to the door of the accomodation. shower, bed, GARDEN, pool all is good.

Nice, calm and peaceful stay.

A little bit off the path of Madrid, but worth it. If you don’t mind a bit of walking, a metro station is about 15 minutes away - through a very nice, calm and safe neighbourhood. Property is quite nice. Courtyard is a nice place to sit at night. Pool gets a lot of sunshine in the day. Staff are excellent and friendly. I felt very safe and the place was clean. One minor detail is that my specific room was in the basement and it didn’t have a single window in it. I wish that had been communicated while booking the room. Maybe you can specify if you don’t want to be in the basement. However, even with that detail, my stay was comfortable. Would stay again.

The hotel is located in a nice suburban neighborhood. I enjoyed the 15-minute walk to the metro, but it may not suit those who prefer not to walk. My room was in the basement and didn't match the photos online. It was acceptable for one night, especially since it's only a 20-euro ride from the airport, but I wouldn't recommend it for a longer stay.

there was some issue with the room I was gonna get so when I got there around 9pm to check in the receptionist told me there was no room for me. then he offered me to spend the night in the staff room without a bathroom . I Said yes because I had nowhere else to go nor spend the night at that time. The receptionist offered to gave me the money back and to let me stay in the staff room for the night which I did appreciate. I got 60 euros back and barely slept for 2 hours until around 6 am he came into the room and sent me to another room that got empty because someone just checked out mind you he told me I can shower there which I didn't because it wasnt cleaned. I have never experience something like this I felt very uncomfortable. I really dont wish anyone goes through this like I did at this hotel. it was not acceptable at all. The receptionist was nice but he kept on saying not to complain to Expedia because they could get in trouble, I told him I contacted Expedia and that's when he gave me the 60 euros back .

It looked better in the pictures

I just needed a comfortable and clean place near the airport to sleep and shower before my flight the next day. The bed sheets smelled like cigarettes, the elevator also had a funky smell, the toilet seat had pee stains, and the room, which was in the basement was a bit tricky to get to, as there was a cart with piles of laundry. But I must say that the people at the reception were friendly and it has a nice location, both near the airport and a mall with a supermarket and a Mcdonalds.

Nice and comfortable

I stayed for one night, since I was taking a connection flight early in the morning. The location is really good, not far from the airport, and accesible with public transport, nice and safe area. Communication before my arrival was not so good, I expected to get a mail with instructions but I didn’t, and didn’t have the access code upon arrival. That was not really a problem though, because when I knocked someone came to open the door (which was also a bit of luck). Staff was friendly. Took the breakfast service for 6.50€ (not 5€ as stated here on the website). The room was nice and very comfy, had air conditioned. I found traces of dirt in the bathroom floor.

I’m fairly certain they double-charged me for the room upon arrival (which I didn’t realize until after). I had already made a payment for the room on Expedia and they charged me an additional $72 on arrival, at first I thought maybe it was a deposit that I would get back, but the cost was almost exactly what I originally paid for the room and I didn’t get it back. Breakfast was a little underwhelming for the price we paid for it as well. However, the room was very clean, spacious and comfortable, and the location was at a midway point between the airport, IFEMA and Madrid Proper, so it was convenient.

(-) I would describe this as a trap, while I booked for two nights, I found my room underground which gave me a feeling like I am jailed. No windows, no fresh air. The room was smelly (underground musty smell). Important aspect of the room should have been mentioned clearly to guests prior to the booking process. The lady at the desk tried to solve this but I was charged €30 more for giving me an alternative room. (-) While the hotel mentioned that the hotel staff at the desk speaks English, apart from a lady, I found no English speaking staff. (-) the safe in my room didn’t work. (-) the refrigerator was faulty, I reported to a staff member, she responded that they already know that, and they still haven’t worked on fixing it. When I left the ‘hotel’, I had a feeling like I was set free. This was one of my worst hotel experiences. AVOID
