"I'd rate this 4 1/2 stars-- a great place to get away in the mountains and with beautiful views, but must keep in mind that you are getting a mountain cabin so without some of the luxuries. The good: a view to kill for, and with the sun and clouds turning it into constantly changing panorama; 15 minutes from hiking; very clean and comfortable; two very comfortable queen beds. "Everything was perfect except the uncomfortable road they had to access the cabin, a 4x4 vehicle is required, especially if it is raining."

"This cabin was amazing! The bed was comfy. Lots of room in the cabin with nice little touches. Especially loved the fairy box! Cabin is at the end of a dirt road and is very peaceful, and close to neighboring towns for groceries and dining, as well as the tail of the dragon. Host is very responsive and friendly. "Amazing historic cabin on a great property. There is a rec room, laundry, and firepit all within a short walking distance. Also TWO trails on site. We travel a ton and this cabin had the best “notebook” of anywhere we have stayed. To a of local information, cool history of the cabin, and helpful tips for this historical space! The only thing to be cautious of is the only bed is up a ladder style staircase that is very steep. They note this in the listing, so it wasn’t a huge surprise but...

"The cabin was reasonably priced and really convenient to visit the Great Smoky Mountains, followed by shoppers and dining near Sylva. The beds were comfortable, and the view of the creek outside the cabin was very pleasant to picnic next to."
