"We stayed for 2 nights as a family of 5. The room was big enough to fit our pack-and-play. The refrigerator was very useful and it was nice to enjoy a cup of coffee first thing while everyone else slept in. We appreciated being able to bring our dog and play ball in the back area. The playground and giant connect 4 were a hit with the littles. The lounge with the Brio trains was great to have for little brother. "Pool was beautiful"

"Few properties have an indoor pool and hot tub at this price, so that's a nice perk. Important if you're old and on a multi-day hiking trip. However, the pool is not well maintained. VERY humid in there, locker rooms closed/taped off, like they're actively working on it/doing construction, which was the same when I stayed there a full year ago. Also, I called before booking to ask if it was worth paying extra for the "suite" and was told it has a couch and extra space, so I did pay more for that...

"What a wonderful place to stay near the entrance to the Mt. Washington Auto Road entrance. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the rooms exceptionally clean, and the staff at the front desk, maintenance, housekeeping, and wait/bar were all pleasant and did their jobs well. As guests, you felt welcomed and everyone felt like family. We enjoyed the views of the Presidential Range while also enjoying the fire pit and serenity of The Glen House location. "Safe and clean, although dated. It was very difficult to get the shower to a safe, comfortable temp, but with some patience, it can be done. The hot tub/spa area is seasonal, which was not advertised. Quiet and comfortable, the room was spacious."

"Loved everything about my stay except for the pillows. They were hard. Bathroom was super tiny but that’s because of the room I had rented which was the last one available for the 2 nights I was there. I would definitely stay again!! Highly recommend!!"

"Great little mountain retreat! The outdoor area is great— pool, hot tubs, sauna and fire pits. They were much enjoyed after a long day of hiking! The staff was friendly and the Shovel Handle Pub had great food and libations. Would love to go back!"

"Really enjoyed our stay. Found the home to be very authentic and interesting. Lots of space and the outdoor area was wonderful. Clean room, with lots of extras in the room from a Roku TV to wine glasses. Nice host as well, who went out of her way in assisting us with our needs. AC worked excellent during that hot spell. A+!"
