"Good location to discover eating places"

"Excellent location near Lincoln Center, Fordham University Manhattan campus and Central Park. Very comfortable bed. Tiny bathroom, but very good shower with good water pressure. I was lucky and had a nice view from the window overlooking Lincoln Center. I found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating at this independently-owned hotel. Great prices normally but I paid more during surge pricing because of a popular event at Lincoln Center. Restaurants and shopping are nearby, we went to Target which is only a couple blocks away for groceries and other things. Friend woke up to someone practicing a musical instrument, but I sleep with earplugs and did not hear anything. "

"The room had obviously not been cleaned when we arrived. There were dirty socks on the floor, hair in the shower, scuff marks on the bedding, etc. When we emailed customer service we got a response that was clearly written by AI. It said cleaning stuff would be coming to check it in the morning. Cleaning staff didn’t come at all during our 3 day stay. "

"Good location but unfortunately that's it. Worst hotel I have stayed in. They seem to be converting to a new hotel / brand, and in my opinion should rather have closed doors. No dining / bar options, no room service, old rooms, stripped down elevators. The TV was not working. The blinds were not working (had to sleep with the blinds open), the aircon was stuck at 75 (had to sleep with the windows partially open). Asking management they wrote it down on a piece of paper and says "maintenance" will have a look, which never happened. I booked for 6 nights and left after 3."

"This was such a nice find right in the heart of Times Square. The lobby was a hub and always thriving. Yet the rooms were super quiet and comfortable. Above all, the staff was absolutely outstanding. That made this a place I’ll return to each time I come for business or pleasure. "
