"Room was clean, well maintained, nice hot shower & comfy bed. Tea, coffee, biscuits and a decent size cup are always a plus !
Solo female travelling for work. Only stayed for one night but had everything I needed. Felt reasonably safe.
Only issue was the 2nd cottages directions sign was on the right hand side of road & obscured by a tree branch, so I didn’t see it & my sat nav took me left at the end of the rd & up a very tight private road to a bungalow based on the post code.
Not ideal …....
"For an expensive hotel, the bathroom was very dated, tired and in desperate need of updating. The enamel on the bath was gone meaning it was stained pretty bad, the grout around the outdated tiles had been painted white. The bedroom had been painted poorly and was very plain and in need of updating, as are the furniture. The room would have been ok if the price had been around £50 p/n. The main communal areas were very nice, the corridors had radiators hanging off the wall with brown stains on...
"It had everything we needed for a one nights stay. The only thing we couldn’t find was the switch for the heating as we did need to take the chill off now it’s getting cooler. Despite the fire alarm going off and no one knowing what to do at 5am we had a pleasant stay"
"What an amazing Place. Amazing Hosts. Beautiful Scenery and Loads of horses around the property which my children loved.
Elsa and her husband were incredible and so welcoming and genuinely nice people and checked wverything was OK for us and left us enjoy our time. The Cottage had lovely grounds and a lovely well kept secure garden for the dogs. The family are lovely.
