"Located just outside Espinho, but around a 2km walk along the broadwalk, which you can access at the rear of the hotel. Or a little bit more than 2km if you go via the main road, but with wide sidewalks. Uber here is the cheapest I’ve seen so around £5. The beach outside the hotel is rocky, but another 5 min walk to the left, you can find a sandy area. We arrived early and was allowed to make use of the facilities until our room was ready at 4pm. "Reception staff were really helpful when we arrived early,eg let us park in car park and use toilet. The apartment had a lovely sea view and a comfy sofa. It was plenty large enough for two people but did need updating. The bed especially so as it was creaky and uncomfortable, spoiling our experience to a certain degree. The kitchen was very basic and had no preparation space without us moving the microwave out of the way, it was in need of a major upgrade."
