"The hotel its self is good, clean rooms, bar area light, bright and a lovely area to sit The breakfast was a big let down, the cold options were excellent, variety and lovely and fresh, the hot options not so much, bacon, scrambled eggs, hash browns and mushrooms were all stone cold, the conveyor toaster was missing the ramp so the toast just dropped out of the back of the toaster on to the table top, you could easily burn yourself reaching right to the back of the toaster to retrieve your...

"We enjoyed our stay at the Waterside Hotel. Parking in the basement was easy with lifts to all floors. The room was good, spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. My only grumbles would be that it was difficult getting into the bath tub to have a shower and there was no fridge in the room."

"Room was nice and overlooked Lord Street. Reception staff very accommodating, had several nice breakfasts and dinner. Bar drinks were good. No complaints. The bath/shower was a step up design and was super deep. Not sure it would work if you had disabilities."

"Fabulous property with very helpful staff. Ran the local Parkrun and missed breakfast time but was made some fantastic bacon sandwiches when we both returned to the guest house. Staff was very accommodating which made the visit very enjoyable."

"The only issue we’ve experienced about our stay was the cleanliness issues. The whole place could do with a deep deep clean and small touch ups. I believe no matter how much money you pay, you should be able to stay in a clean environment. Apart from the cleanliness, our stay was great. The staff was great and helpful.
