We had a good stay at formby hall and spa, we stayed for 3 nights in the superior room which was lovey on the round floor which i asked for so that was great. We had to pay £150 up front for the billing at the end of the stay and Another £100 for the spa treatments, golf and evening meal which that wasn't explained at the time of booking.
The room was lovey and clean,nice big bed comfortable enough, tea, coffee and milk , everything you need to have a comfortable stay, bathroom need some attention as in the grouting and the shelve needs repairing, nice fluffy towels .
Breakfast was nice, good choice of fryup or continental breakfast plenty to choose from but a bit on the cool side need a microwave, breakfast staff was very nice and helpful nothing was to much trouble.
Evening meal on our first dinner ordered a margarita pizza and got a pepperoni one and ordered a beef burger and got a cheese burger, asked for can of coke and got a glass of coke after i ask for a can then told they didn’t have any. Second night was a lot better i had steak it was delicious.
There was no entertainment of a evening so it was very quiet and the surrounding area not a lot to do unless to have a drive out.
Spa was great nice a clean and competitive pricing, staff was lovely very friendly. Over all had a lovely stay but wouldn't go back as it was too expensive and nothng to do at night.
