"I booked a sea view room. Stunning views over the Promenade. Look, it’s a very old hotel, so maintenance is needed constantly. Creaking floor boards and dated corridors. That comes with the territory. My room was superb, clean and bright. I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast (12.50) if a walk in. Piping hot, good selection, spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed, nice and quiet, very helpful reception staff."

"This wonderful hotel truly welcomes dogs by providing dog bowls, a special cover so the dog can get on the bed and they even provided a dog towel. Our dog was welcome to join us at breakfast where we had a separate table away from the rest and Charlie was given a dog chew. We absolutely loved it and would definitely stay again. "This is a wonderful place to stay. It has a car park at the rear and 3 parking spots at the front. It is very secure with a personal PIN provided before book in for the doors. Very clean and smart. Big comfy bed in room 6 anyway. Nice little kitchenette. Fridge, kettle, coffee machine. Lovely shower. If I had to pick fault it would be the awful washing up liquid. "Josie was very friendly and welcoming. Very attentive and couldnt do enough. We were offered a much needed hot drink on arrival which was brought to our room. Our room was very clean, more than enough tea, coffee etc, it even had dressing gowns. Little touches of Usb points on plugs and even a little chocolate each. We felt veey welcomed."
