"the ocean was visible from our room, however the beach was covered in sea weed wich i understand is normal but nothing was done to clean the beach. we enjoyed our pool very much !! the water in the pool became visible dirty after a few days , the same thing happened to the main pool and nothing was being done about it. i think housekeeping needs to step it up."

"The resort was great. We upgraded our bracelets and had access to the other resorts which was nice but honestly unnecessary if you are going to be doing a lot of excursions or if you have a short stay. We only had 3 hotel days and the original bracelets would have been fine However, the nicest beach seemed to be Akumal. We enjoyed the pool and buffet at both Akumal and coba. We way overpaid on souvenirs and alcohol and the hacienda. We honestly found better deals at the airport duty free store for some things, which is crazy. Bahia principe coba was clean, staff was very nice, food was good, pool and pool bar was good. You will not be able to find small bills to be able to break your bigger pesos. We asked multiple different staff and cashiers and were told no every time. We consistently had to buy things to break bills in order to get tip money so just something to think about before arriving. The transport was mostly consistent and made access to everywhere easy but it's also beautiful to walk. All in all we had no real complaints."
