Hotels near Founders Park

"The rooms were clean and the grounds were well maintained. Evening shows were ok, done by 9 or 10 each night. No night life at the resort, but a short walk to 5th Ave and clubs and eateries. Felt safe walking well lite. Food-breakfast was your normal at any resort buffet. Evening 3 restaurant options along with buffet. Italian was our favorite and yes you have to arrange reservations before had. Mexican was ok and steak house needs some work on the menu. No real flavor to the meal. Drinks were all over the place some place you would ask for Malibu and got it and other bar said all out to up charge. Same with vodka Tito was up charge sometimes. Sushi was good. Pizza was very good for lunch options if wanting a snack instead of buffet. We did use the spa for a couples massage. It was nice and relaxing. My husband was not overly impressed because his scalp massage he thought she was just petting his hair. Not much of beach at all so don’t go to this resort for ocean views and it was smelly when you got to the beach. They had fishing boats all along the beach and was dangerous to walk in certain areas so we didn’t go in ocean at all. This is a smaller resort but the staff are great and very helpful. They do have a 24/7 sandwich and fruit with cookies and such which is nice for after hours. Very chill resort."

"It was a good experience, stuff was very nice and polite, food was great and so many choices. We were disappointed that the beach was very smelly and a lot of seaweed on the shore so impossible to swim there which we like to go to the beaches when we plan a vacation. Pools were great but not same, I guess was a bad time of the year"

"I had such a great stay at The Fives Downtown. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt welcoming, and the team really made a difference. A special thank you to Mr. Frank at check-in for the smooth and friendly welcome—he set the tone right away. The rooftop pool was one of my favorite spots, and the staff there were amazing. Jesús in particular stood out for his kindness and attention—he made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, everyone in the building made me feel genuinely welcome and safe throughout my stay, which meant a lot. I would absolutely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

"Overall, the hotel was comfortable. There were a couple of days that entertainment shows did not start on time or there were no optional options for people who didn't want to go to the "White Out" party. Another issue I had was that there were no bath supplies in the rooms. For example, a shower cap, or Q-tips etc--usually these are provided by the hotels. Especially, if you are staying in the "Elite Club" sections. Lastly, an elevator needs to be place in more areas than just the reception area. "
