Unfortunately we were automatically moved from the Sun House to a large Hotel a few blocks away. It completely changed the vibe of the trip for us. We were after a quaint, quiet location with its own kitchen and outdoor space. What we received was a bustling, loud, overfilled hotel lacking all the reasons why we chose the Sun House. More than disappointing.

This was our second stay. We stayed here on our honeymoon and the hosts are so amazing we had to stay again. The room was super clean and comfortable. Parking available on site. Did I mention the hosts are amazing! Super value and easy walk to the historic center. Love it!

We had such a beautiful stay at the Sun House. The host is really wonderful and so hospitable. Rooms were spacious, cleanly and very convenient. Very walkable to the main centre of the city. Overall, I am certain that I will be coming back to stay here when I return to Florence. Grazie.

Best hosts. They were very nice and the courtyard parking was a plus in the middle of town which is very hard to get parking in the middle of Florence. It was very convenient walk to the Galleria Dell’Accademia Di Firenze to see Statue of David and the popular sandwich shop All’Antico Vinaio. That was a fun trip. The apartment was the cutest and I loved the layout very much. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a nice stay. They allowed us to park on the property which was great. They also provided bicycles so we ever needed to drive while in Florence. My only complaint was the amount of mosquitos in the room. We killed 5 our first night and kept finding more.

Great place to stay and excellent host

The location of the property is amazing. Major attractions are in walking distance. It has parking spot which was a great relief for us. On top of that, the property was so peaceful and comfortable. The best part of our stay was the host. She was super nice and helpful. My wife was not feeling well in the morning and she allowed us to use her space until she gets better. She helped a lot while she was recovering. One of the best stay I have ever had.

Very lovely place

This place is awesome! It is sotuated very close to the city centre and has parking available. The hostess is very friendly and helpful. The beds are good quality and the room is very lovely with brick ceiling. The only little minus was that the towels smelled bad, like they hadn’t been washed warm enough. They had a sour stench to them.

Très spacieux, vélo à disposition pour aller au centre. L'hôte est aimable et prévenante. Il y a une terrasse accessible, une pharmacie, un supermarché, un excellent breakfast à moins de 3min à pied. La zone est calme, loin de la masse du centre mais le centre peut être atteint en 7min à vélo. Le parfait compromis pour visiter Florence. Vous pourrez aussi entreposer vos valises après le check-out.

Siamo stati solo una notte, ma la bellezza della camera, i comfort e la comodità di raggiungere il centro ci ha fatto pensare di rimanere una seconda notte. Il personale con noi è stato davvero molto gentile e disponibile, appena arrivati Gianni ci ha da subito illustrato la città di Firenze con una cartina da lui offerta. Per il resto tutto perfetto! Die Vermieterin war grandios. Sehr hilfsbereit bei Fragen zu lokalen Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants. Die Möglichkeit direkt im Hof parken zu können ist ebenfalls Klasse. Anschließend ist noch die Tierfreundlichkeit erwähnenswert. Die Räumlichkeiten sind einfach jedoch alles da was man braucht. Und alles ist sehr sehr sauber.

Perfekt sted til lille Firenze-ferie

Stor tak til værten på dette fine lille overnatningssted for godt værtsskab og gode tips til Firenze ved vores ankomst. Vi var glade for bykort med fine anbefalinger som var med til at sikre os et rigtig fint 3-dages ophold i byen. Dejlig stor seng, fint med udendørs siddepladser i gården og på tagterrassen. Dejligt at kunne låne cykler, så vi let kunne komme rundt i byen. Uvurderligt med gratis parkering den lille gård. Lækker bager lige udenfor døren med coffee-to-go. Restauranten overfor derimod ikke god. Let at køre ind i byen til overnatningsstedet.

Great location

We loved our stay at Sun House. Simona is very pleasant and helpful with everything from the communication to the check in process and even suggestions for our stay. The off street courtyard parking is a must if you arrive with your own vehicle! The rooms are clean, tidy and beds are very comfortable. Park and walk everwhere. Would highly recommend.

In one word it was Amazing! Our host was extremely friendly and gave us a map with very helpful information, the place is super clean, Modern and bed was so comfortable, AC was a plus, also bicycles available for free, very close to city center, quiet neighborhood… perfect place to visit Florence super highly recommended !!!! Piacevolissimo soggiorno presso Sun House! La proprietaria ci ha accolti con gentilezza e premura, consigliandoci anche alcuni posti dove andare a mangiare e quali attrazioni visitare. La stanza è spaziosa, con letto comodo e servizi in ottime condizioni. Inoltre gli ospiti hanno a disposizione una piccola cucina comune accanto alla reception e delle biciclette per girare la città. Dunque la struttura offre un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo (in cui è incluso anche il posto auto, cosa da non sottovalutare a Firenze!) e vanta di una posizione comoda, appena fuori dal centro storico (raggiungibile con una breve passeggiata lungo l'Arno).

Alles Perfekt! Das Zimmer/Appartement war wunderschön und auch der Innenhof sehr nett und für alle nutzbar. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und bemüht Einzig und allein die Parkplatz-Situation war etwas schwierig, da nicht genug Parkplätze für alle Gäste im Innenhof zur Verfügung standen und jene noch dazu seeeeehr eng sind. Allerdings hatten wir Glück und konnten auch außerhalb der Anlage direkt an der Straße gratis Parken.

That was just perfect. Very welcoming staff, giving us good visiting advice. The room was really spacious and nice. Location was perfect to visit Florence without any transportation. There was a parking, and you can even borrow bikes for free.
