"The room we were originally given was right in the front of the hotel on a busy street and was very noisy. After a conversation with the front desk we changed to a nice quiet interior room. I enjoyed the continental breakfast. It was well stocked with many options for eat and drink. Be advised that they do charge for parking which is below the hotel."

"This inn was beyond our expectations—so clean, attractive and comfortable. We had a room overlooking the small adjacent beach park as well as a view of the bay. We loved sitting out on our balcony and listening to the sea lions bark! The staff was so lovely and helpful, and the room itself was filled with nice amenities, including a coffee nook. "We had a wonderful stay at the Wave Street Inn! The location was perfect — close to the beach, restaurants, and everything we wanted to explore. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. We especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. It made for a relaxing and memorable getaway. "Our room had no AC, so when we checked in we had to leave the balcony door open for a while to cool off. That in itself isn't a huge deal, but the room we were in had a balcony that was shared among multiple rooms. This is Monterey we are talking about, so I wasn't at all concerned, but it just seemed like the sort of thing people might like to know. Also some of the parking spots are tricky if you have a larger vehicle. All in we had a nice stay, and the breakfast the next morning was a solid...
