Hotels near Fisherman's Wharf

"The Pros: The hotel lobby was beautiful and spacious. Our room was nice, although our view was of the street and sometimes it was loud with sirens wailing nearby. The service at Peter B's (one of their restaurants) was good. We appreciated how dog friendly it was. The location was good-- central to the wharf and easy to walk to the trail that runs along the water up to Cannery Row. The pool was nice, too. The Cons: The wifi was laughable. It barely worked at all. you could pay money to "upgrade", which I'm assuming might get you working wifi, but why not just provide your guests with a decent internet connection? The coffee maker inside the hotel room didn't work. There was good coffee near the hotel, so not a dealbreaker, but still annoying. The elevator system was also weird. You had to select which floor you wanted to go to on a touch screen outside the elevator bank, then it directed you to which elevator was yours. The touchscreen often froze, meaning you had to stand there and press buttons repeatedly until the elevator finally worked. Lastly, the service at Jack's the morning we ate there was terrible. I had to ask for water twice before he finally brought some, then he never checked on us after bringing our food. Didn't even get one refill on my coffee the entire breakfast. These were mostly small annoyances and I would consider staying there again, but I did expect a bit more."

"Room was clean, furniture updated and comfortable. Bathroom well stocked and nice shower with good pressure. Parking could be very tight in terms of width of space. Seems like walk ways / cement could have used a good power rushing. We have stayed there 4 or 5 times and like the walkablility the wharf area and downtown area for restaurants. "

"Most staff were very nice one pretty girl would not smile for the life of her. Our balcony doors would not lock which seemed to be a little bit of a safety issue. There was no fan in our room. It was very hot. We had to call and request one. Only one night table in that room the set up of the room seems to be very small compared to our friends room. That was there. Parts of the building definitely seemed like they are falling apart."

"This is an aging property that more closely resembles a motel with no amenities. The property is tired and under managed. Location is good and at the right nightly rental could be a good value"

"Clean room and walkable from cannery row. Great little breakfast and wine and cheese hour. Lovely staff. "

"It’s an excellent hotel right on the gold course. We had a room with a balcony and enjoyed our stay very much. "

"The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The walls are thin, but luckily it quieted down early the night I was there so I slept great. I didn’t get to relax in the jacuzzi (which is why I booked) because there were loud kids enjoying the pool, which is no fault of the hotel’s. I liked that I had a quiet A/C unit and mini refrigerator. They can be loud and annoying in some places. "

"The AC didn’t work properly, and there was no tea maker in the room. The staff did not walk us to the room, which was unexpected. The bathroom was not clean, and there was no hot water In the restaurant, However, when we asked the reception about the hot water, they fixed it quickly. We missed the first night of our reservation, and although I was hoping for some adjustment, they said no changes could be made, which I understand. Overall, I do not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again."
