"Stayed 3 nights and it was wonderful time. Breakfast buffet was great. Staff was kind and helpful. Weather was very cold. Overall was excellent. "

"Found a bottle of champagne and chocolate in our room in honor of our anniversary. Yer, the front counter employee was very friendly and helpful with recommendations on where to eat. The hot tub overlooking the harbor was enjoyable, albeit pretty small. The second floor hot tub felt like a lukewarm bath so we stuck to the 4th floor hot tub. The bed was comfortable. Daily complimentary water bottles were appreciated."

"I stayed in one of the historic rooms, which is historically small and unappointed. There wasn't even a chair, just a bed and a bathroom. If you wanted to sit, you could sit on the toilet or the bed. The staff were fine, the hotel at least in that area, is pretty shabby. I was unimpressed and I will not return."

"Great hotel minutes from Fisherman's Wharf in Monterey. The room was spacious and clean, staff were friendly and helpful, and we were able to make good use of the 24hr tea/coffee facilities and the heated pool. There is also a microwave in the communal area. Parking was plentiful (both at ground level and underground). I would recommend this hotel and would stay again on a return visit to Monterey."

"Extremely underrated. Very good hotel. Clean rooms, renovated bathrooms, very clean and new tiles and clean showers. Gas fireplace was awesome. HBO channel was also a nice touch. Best breakfast ever!!"
