"I purchased a Lake View Room, when I arrived they said my room was not available yet and moved me to another room. I could see the lake only if I stood behind the T.V. All three windows had no view at all. When I brought it up to staff they said that the room qualified as a Lake View and would not reimburse me or move me to another room. "Great location, nice property, extremely slow breakfast at in house restaurant Toro. Didn’t appreciate paying an “urban experience fee” with associated taxes."

"Shower only had hot water about half the time, then lukewarm. This is an older hotel with very small bathroom and dated. For the price, expected better. Beds were comfortable though. Hotel does not have its own parking and the lot behind was full on Friday evening, but was able to park across the street."

"I arrived a bit early. They didn't allow me to check in early, although it was confirmed the previous guest had left. I asked a kind favor to prioritize cleaning my room first but it was not entertained. I asked to switch to another room that is ready and has been cleaned but my request was rejected. "Hey, the room was nice and clean but showed signs of wear and peeling paint. I enjoyed my stay. The staff was helpful and kind. Location is awesome. Chicago is a very walkable city, the hotel is located right on the river with nice views."
