"Cape Trib beach house gives you the opportunity to have a secluded bit of rainforest and beach away from the busier parts of the Daintree. The restaurant is good, portions are large. You can sit on an idyllic beach with just a couple of others hearing and seeing the rainforest animals as waves lap upon the beach. We saw Cassowary at the property twice in our 3 day stay. You can’t go in the water, but that is true of all FNQ.

"This resort was an awesome place to stay for a week of relaxation and exploration of the surrounding reef and island. There was enough to do for a six day stay. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful (Sadie, Lucy & Ariel in particular). The resort is a bit run-down in places however and the limited food options at Foxy’s Bar get tired after a few days. But that’s a small price to pay for the beautiful surrounds and dinner at Zephyr’s was lovely.
