It was a bit on the noisier side than other places we stayed but it was St. Patrick Day's weekend. "We had a quick overnight stay to break up a long journey and booked here so we could explore the area. In particular the Kelpies which according to Expedia is a short walk from the hotel. This isn’t true. It’s over an hour to walk and about 20 minutes in the car. Lovely hotel, superb big bed which was very comfortable. Staff very nice and dining options were good. "
