"A charming Gastropub hotel on the edge of Epping Forest conveniently located near Chingford overground station with direct links to Liverpool St. The hotel is a tudor style timber and white plaster building with stained glass windows amongst many other old world embellishments. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the restaurant a treat with exceedingly helpful and pleasant staff."

"Nice enough hotel- lovely front staff, willing to help. The bar stocked a nice selection of beers and stouts, and the food we ordered was fine. Parking was easy and reasonably priced, but if you arrive late- you may have to look for a place. During the day, it’s easy. Don’t forget to check in your car as soon as you arrive. This is important- I suspect you’ll be fined. And request an email receipt of your registration. If I’m honest- it’s a little run down, and my room had a slightly odd,...

"Lovely area - Harlow Park. The property has a beautiful well- kept garden. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful, the atmosphere in the house was homely. Food and drink available to buy and prepare on site in the well- eqipped kitchen. Books and board games galore. "

"Location was good for my purpose. Shower had mould around the edge. Not paticularly clean. Bed wasn't comfortable. Pillows where thin. Late check in staff was grumpy. Room was super hot on a not paticularly warm day. Infact it had been raining. I had to take 2 lifts and a reasonable walk to get to my room."
