"Absolutely superb ! Like stepping on board the titanic! Fantastic decor. Staff! efficient polite very clean and tidy. Beautiful building inside. Outside building needs some renovation but ok . Huge spacious rooms with everything you need maybe a fridge be useful particularly when hot weather. But all things considered very good. Price very good for July no issues with that . " Very friendly welcome, nothing too much trouble. Very comfortable and immaculate room, excellent walk-in shower. Full English breakfast the best!. Well located for seafront and town centre. Access to reception is via steps so perhaps not ideal for those with walking difficulties Otherwise highly recommended! "

"We loved our stay with you. The hotel was so well kept and so clean everywhere. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and airy. I like the touch of water provided each day and the small packets of biscuits. We loved sun bathing by the swimming pool ,but some of the sunbeds could do with a good clean, which only takes seconds with a pressure washer. "Our stay at Harmony House was one of the best experiences we have every had with a guest house like this. From the moment we first stepped into the house we were treated like royalty. Lots of suggestions were provided for things to do and places to eat. The breakfasts were amazing, lots of flexibility with the menu. We highly recommend this guest house for a stay."

"A warm welcome after our long journey, which relaxes you straight away. We were shown our room, and it met our needs. We celebrated our Wedding Anniversary over this time, and found the staff very approachable, with the Breakfast having a good choice overlooking the beach. Ample secure carparking facility next too the hotel. The facilities in the hotel/ room, met our needs. We would recommend to others, and hope to return in the not too distant future. "

"A little gem. Had a fantastic weekend stay at The Smugglers. From the minute we checked in to the moment we left, the staff made us very welcome. The restaurant served superb steaks cooked on their charcoal grill. thank you Mark and Emily and all the staff. "Really lovely little hotel (12 rooms?). Beautifully and tastefully decorated. Location very convenient for Torquay but far enough away from the noise. Beautiful 19th century property. Hosts very friendly, everyone greeted at breakfast by their names - how do they remember everyone's name??! Lovely breakfast all made to order - good variety. Would definitely stay again if in Torquay. We booked through expedia but worth looking at booking direct."
