The hotel is in a nice quiet location in the middle of a residential area just back from the sea front, but because of this the car park is tiny and irregularly shaped so only about 6 spaces really available to use. The outside has seen better days and could benefit from a lick of paint and it can appear a bit dated inside as well. Room was nice and comfy with a refurbished bathroom, nice staff and a good choice of food available.

Bit snug but worth every penny

Nice clean, cheap and quiet room to stay the night whilst travelling. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We had a couple minor issues (not the fault of the hotel in any way) which were resolved quickly and easily by the staff. The bathroom in my room was excellent. Massive shower and super modern and clean. Highly recommended.

Pleasant and comfortable

Just a 1 night stay as i was working in the area and my wife was accompanying me. As it turned out we had stayed here before some years ago. As then we had no complaints, the room was clean comfortable and warm and close enough to the sea front to take a walk.

It was comfortable, it was a round a 10 min walk from Paignton station and a 5 min walk from the promenade, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The reason for my 4 strars on some of the things was because at breakfast they forgot about me when asking what i wanted for a cooked breakfast and also my shower was very hot and i couldn't regulate the temperature, i reoprted this to reception in the morning and the guy said he would get straight on it also he did offer me another room to shower in ( which was a nice touch) but I'd managed to shower in my room, all in all a nice little B&B to stay in for 1 night.

The rooms were clean and well serviced. The bed was solid and comfy. The staff were very helpful. I saw people have had issues with the water pressure in the showers. I waited about twenty seconds for the pump to kick in and it was a great shower. Comments about the walls being thin. On the first night I had nightmare neighbours. But Steve promptly dealt with them and no more noise. Simples. I was there for 5 nights. Had different, more courteous neighbours during the rest of my stay. No issues. Cheers guys. I'll see you again if working in the area. 👍. Keep up the good work. Damian

Did the job intended.

Quite large hotel, rooms big enough clean and quiet, apart from seagulls in morning. Bathroom had a dead crane fly in the bath. No evening meals until later as they had a coach party holidaying so kitchen couldn't manage too many meals. Clise enough to front to walk to restaurants so no major problem. Car park excellent. Breakfast was buffet style cereal, toast, fruits etc and waitress delivered full english and hot drinks. Really nice selection. One issue was shower was not very powerful, enough, just, but a greater flow would make it better.

Amazing

Amazing friendly hotel stayed twice over the summer and will definitely be back again next year. Dog friendly as well which was a bonus very good value for money

We came down to visit our Daughter and grandchildren, the hotel is just a 5 minuite walk from the see front, 10 minutes from the main stretch of shops, lots of bars, restaurants and places to see all within walking distance, this hotel isnt expensive, offers breakfast when booking, we cant comment on the food as niether of us eat early. The hotel is lovely and quiet. This is our 3rd stay here.

Check-in was fast are room was clean but we did have to say to staff member that are shower was not good no pressure at all so had to wash in the sink breakfast was ok but we did have a fantastic night's sleep
