"I am not really sure why the reviews here so poorly match the state of the hotel. It’s run down and a more than a bit grubby. The staff are lovely and helpful and do their best to take care of you but it doesn’t really make up for the fact that the hotel needs some serious upkeep. "

"I don’t know what happened within the year, possibly change in General Manager or staff , but cleanliness has declined or is no longer a top priority as it was in the past. We stayed a year ago and was so different than this time. The elevator was always dirty and not cleaned , the carpet in the hallways smelled old and our room smelled musty and old . The room was clean as was the bathroom but please update the rooms and furniture . My son and daughter in law had another room and they killed...
