"Wonderful welcome on arrival by the owner, Sue. The room is lovely and big with a large bathroom, it's spotlessly clean everywhere with beautiful decor. There is a little fridge in the room with milk for hot drinks, a nice touch. The breakfast each morning is superb with the best eggs we've ever tasted (from their own chickens). We have already booked for next year at the same time. Highly recommended."

"Wonderful stay in this quaint thatched Inn. Modernised rooms and wonderful ensuite with large bath and shower over, due to the property being burnt down early in the 2000s. Traditional wooden beamed bar and restaurant with exceptionally conscientious staff. Full English breakfast using locally sourced produce and a thoroughly enjoyable stay for the two of us "

"This was definitely the best accomodation we had during our two week trip of the UK. Fiona and Steve were very welcoming hosts. The historic house is cozy, as is the guest lounge and breakfast room. The lounge is equipped with a quality stereo system, a record player and a large and truly excellent selection of LPs. You can select your breakfest and your music of choice in the evening. "Wonderfully situated overlooking the beach and for going straight into Town for shops and restaurants. The hotel room was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities that you could wish for. The breakfasts and evening meals were super with a wide range to cater for every taste.The staff were attentive but never intrusive. We would certainly stay there again. "

"We stayed as a family of 4 for 2 nights and were very well surprised by the service we received. The B&B is very big, with a good sized swimming pool and games room. Craig is very friendly, welcoming and a great host! A very clear lover of football, which my partner certainly appreciated!! "Absolutely loved our weekend at the Dower House! Amazing location surrounded by nature, the building is so beautiful and our room was huge and had every comfort. All the things you don't find in chain hotels are here - four poster bed, comfy sofa, coffee table and chairs sat amongst a wonderful backdrop, dark and quiet at night for a great sleep. And not to forget the amazing and genuine owners, Tim and Rosemarie, and Teresa who served a great breakfast "
