"We stayed as a family of 4 for 2 nights and were very well surprised by the service we received. The B&B is very big, with a good sized swimming pool and games room. Craig is very friendly, welcoming and a great host! A very clear lover of football, which my partner certainly appreciated!! We are going to book to stay again at a later date and have recommended to family and friends to stay. Thank you for a lovely stay and hope to see you again in the future ☺️"

"Great location, small but comfy room with lovely mattress on the bed, friendly staff and good choice of breakfast items (continental and cooked). We were able to check in early as our rooms were ready and there was plenty of parking in the hotel car park (out of season). The only negative was the soundproofing between rooms - we could hear the entire phone conversation from the man next door and throughout the night, could hear bathroom fans running. "

"What an amazing place to stay! Close to many activities but at the same time a lovely quiet location. Very well equipped with lots of DVD choices, board games and everything you need to maintain your stay. The beds and bedding was my highlight one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in for years! "The property is located on a site which includes a hotel and a group of small private homes. None of which is a negative. The area is very quiet, but you definitely need a car. "The hotel is a very old coaching inn, full of character, and very well maintained. It is well situated for both Sidmouth and the Donkey Sanctuary. The room had a lovely bed, in a fair sized room. The en-suite was very nicely appointed. Our room was facing the road so there was some traffic noise. The food was excellent and the staff were all really attentive and provided a great service. Overall we had a lovely stay at the Blue Ball Inn, Sidmouth. "
