"Stayed overnight here so we could catch a nearby folk music gig. Everything was outstanding! If you're looking for that "Sign of the Prancing Pony" romantic inn experience, this is it. I half-expected to see Aragorn ensconced in the corner. Breakfast was absolutely terrific: my wife had the vegetarian full English and I had the regular, both superb. Strong, flavorful coffee made fresh. Staff were always helpful and friendly. We'd definitely stay here again in Cambridge!"

"We were given a free upgrade to a huge suite with a four poster bed! Lovely, comfortable bed lead to a good nights sleep. "

"Great staff, very helpful. We were in room 1 which is a clean modern room. You do hear a little traffic noise but not enough that it's an issue. Just watch you don't rest a bare knee on the heated towel rail when you're sat on the toilet!"

Really helpful and friendly staff, lovely cooked breakfast, various options. Also had meal in the pub on the first night, lovely. Room fine. Well done all round."

Our Room was cleaning and comfortable with a nespresso machine, premium teabags and fresh milk available from a fridge in the landing were welcome additions. The pub felt warm and cosy was festooned with lovely Christmas decorations. I thoroughly recommend the Crown & Punchbowl when visiting Cambridge, especially as a half hourly bus service into Cambridge stops just across the...
