"Very cool historic hotel 1.8 miles from the Fonda Theatre. The rooms were cute tho no coffee in room. Have to buy it next door. Great bar/restaurant with nice happy hour and great wines and short rib tacos. It was open late too!"

"The room was dirty they had stains on the bed and all over the floor. Their bathroom door was very difficult to close you had to forcibly close it in order for it to close. They had a closet with nothing in it, not even the bar that holds the hangers was in there. There was no table all we had in the room was a single chair and a mini fridge. There were some outlets that didn’t work and were placed very inconveniently. BE WARNED YOU HAVE TO PAY TO PARK INSIDE THEIR FACILITY. Other than that their ac was amazing and their mini fridge was fire and froze our drinks. The shower is at your own discretion. The staff was pretty nice."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The property was spotless, the rooms were absolutely silent on the floor 3 - we understand the higher floors can be a bit noisier on the weekend. They have a fantastic roof top bar, restaurant and pool. The food is excellent. The rooftop bar/club seems to be a very popular and upscale place for the younger crowd. We really enjoyed the roof top during the day and early evening. Stafff was wonderful all around."

"The hotel is in an excellent location. At first, I didn't like the idea of paying for valet parking, but in reality, it made our trip a lot easier! The parking process was super convenient. The hotel itself is very quaint and fun. It does need some carpet update, though, which is keeping the musty smell in. One other issue was that people didn't quite abide by the smoking area rules, and for some reason, there were lots of smokers when we visited. We didn't get to use the amenities, sadly, but the pool looked nice and clean! We also didn't get to try the diner, as our schedule kept us out at the times it was open. The menu didn't seem to have a lot of options, but since we didn't get to visit it, I can't say anything about the place, only that it looked nostalgic. The staff was super nice and helpful (and patient with all the questions and requests). Overall, the hotel had exceeded most of our expectations, and we would stay here again when we need to be in LA, especially for an extended stay like the last one."
