"This place gave me the creeps. From the stained carpeting and tattered desk chair to the grungy hallways I couldn’t wait to leave. Breakfast was reasonably stocked, though and front desk attendant was nice. I have no idea how this had a rating of 8.0."

"The ice machine in our building (one of two) was broken. The other one at the second building (a long walk)rarely had ice. The machine had a major mold problem, ice was not safe to use. The refrigerator in our room froze our drinks to the point they exploded. The rooms were no better than a Motel 6. Gaps in the door was 1/2”-3/4” wide around the locking system. "The Morgantown Hotel is like walking into a 1940's hotel. Very well taken care of and our room was excellent. Bed was so comfy I didn't want to get out of it. We wish we had had time to explore the area, but alas was on our way back home!"

"Lovely Luxury with a spacious sunset suite. Very comfortable bed and sofa. Wish there were one or more sofa tables. staff were delightful, will definitely come again. Please add a cafe for guests not wanting a large expensive dinner. Breakfast Food was very good. Kitchen well equipped for beverage and snack storage, and very clean."

"We booked a single bedroom suite and they upgraded us to a two bedroom suite for free. It was very spacious and had all the amenities including a kitchen and living room. The complimentary breakfast was very good. Staff are super friendly. Great experience overall!"

"6 of us stayed for a night and found the hotel family friendly. We watched couple of FIFA games sitting on the lounge. Breakfast is very reasonable for the price we paid. A lot of restaurants within the walking distance, highly recommended for private stays."

"Huge holes in the ceiling, buckets full of water sitting everywhere. No pool or hot tub as advertised. Road to the facility has huge potholes. Very outdated rooms and furniture. Only 1 elevator and 1 luggage cart. Had to carry everything up three flights of stairs or walk what seemed like a mile. At one time, it was probably a nice place, really needs upgrades. Wouldn’t recommend it in its current condition."
