"LaLiT is a historic building, near the colonial seat of power when Calcutta was the capital of the British Raj. The traffic around the hotel is chaotic, not to mention crowded. But the staff were wonderful. My husband and I enjoyed our stay, and will stay there again when we are next in Kolkata."

"I really was impressed with the JW. The rooms were new, beds comfortable, service was great in most areas like the breakfast area and the concierge. Very helpful and smooth business stay. Just the bar was lacking in service. Great place to stay in Kolkata. 25 min from the airport. My driver Ranjun was great and drove me around to various appointments for the day. He was excellent."

"This was my second stay at this property, and once again, it was an amazing experience! 👏 Just one piece of constructive feedback: while enjoying the lovely breakfast, I occasionally noticed that some items on the counters needed refilling and were left empty for a while. That said, the staff and overall service were excellent, and I truly appreciated the warm hospitality."

"Everything was good.Facility is well maintained and staffs are very courteous. Only drawback would be if the bar counter by the pool has a permanent server all the time for drinks and taking food orders. Rest from the rooms to the breakfast, all was good. Special thanks to Sugam at the front desk who made the check in fast and easy."
