"Great little pub/restaurant with very well kept and well appointed rooms. Being an old building the access to the bedrooms is up a narrow, steep staircase but since last year it appears the bathrooms my father and I had have been updated. Food is exceptional with wide choice of A La Carte, Indian Favourites & Pub Classics. I will definitely stay again when in the area. "

"We were really disappointed on arrival as the hotel was covered in scaffolding and the entrance looked much more like a 1970s multi-storey carpark than a 4* hotel. The stairs (the lift was out of order), reception area and room were very dated. The soundproofing in the bathroom was non-existent (my wife could hear everything next door). Having said that the beds were comfortable, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was ok."

"It is a very pleasant and sizeable conversion from, I would guess, an upper-grade country pub. Rooms clean and comfortable with all the amenities. Lots of parking for those who come by car, which I would guess are most customers in that part of rural Warwickshire. Staff very pleasant and helpful. My only beef is that the bar and dining room were rather chilly for a late April evening — too optimistic about the weather? And it would be nice to have somewhere to have afternoon tea, but again, I...
