"Lift broken but helpful staff to help with stairs"

"Great hotel and a fantastic stay as always"

"The hotel was lovely, helpful staff and amazing breakfast. Used the spa twice and in the relaxation room wet towels everywhere and empty cups . I felt that you pay for your relaxation time and it didn’t feel that way."

"Very helpful friendly staff. Hotel very tired and basic. Bathroom heavily worn."

"6 minutes drive from Stanstead so 6am at the airport was easy peasy. The room was functional, the bed comfortable."

"The room was in poor condition. Cracked tiles, no bin, no toilet brush, stained napkins and I found multiple hairs around the room. Not worth the money that I paid and won't be staying again."

"We stayed here last weekend to celebrate my mum’s 65th birthday and had such a lovely time. The hotel was beautiful, very clean and comfortable, and all the staff we met were friendly and welcoming. I had emailed beforehand to mention that we were visiting for my mum’s special birthday, so I was a little disappointed that there wasn’t a card or small acknowledgement in the room. "No air-conditioning. (Just in case you need it.) A fan was supplied in the room and like the room could do with a good clean. Dresser glass top you could see the dust laying on top. Chair provided also had food remains, hair and dust from previous guests. Bed matress should have been retired many ,many guests ago. Springs digging in and undulating as lay. Bathroom was comparatively clean but also like the rest of the room very tired in appearance. Car park can be a little cramped, and can make...

"Lovely simple place, very clean with full breakfast, toast and cereals included. Nothing fancy but perfectly good. Very friendly and helpful receptionist and bar staff. Good size room with very comfy bed, bath and shower, hairdryer and blanket. But someone doesn't know how to put a sheet on a bed. Lol Quiet area - on a Tuesday night. Free parking till 8am one road away on Tyler Ride road. I would happily come again."

"Such a cute lodge to stay at. Very clean room, and the attendant was super helpful in getting me to my room and recommendations on how to get to the airport! Would love to stay here again."

"Great stay. Thank you"

"The hotel is undergoing a renovation at the moment, but the rooms and general areas are clean and quiet, the staff in the bar - restaurant are most accommodating, the food is cooked to order but the wait is well worth it the food produced is excellent. Defiantly recommend the food."
