"Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Beds were incongruous… one bed was very comfortable, while the other had a less comfortable, very springy-like mattress, but acceptable. Nice to have a microwave and mini refrigerator. Clean bathroom with adequate space and counters. Coffee & ice by the lobby was convenient. Front office staff was fairly friendly. AC/Heat & Fan unit easy to operate. The only negative was the strong smell of cleaning product (like Pine-Sol) that was eminent and noticeable during our entire stay (maybe somewhat less noticeable on Day 2, but still present). Would recommend highly, due to comfort, cleanliness, and cost!!"

"This hotel didn't really have a "personality" - even though it is a Best Western. Everything, including the breakfast, was very generic. The desk clerk didn't smile or offer any friendly tips. The bed was not very comfortable, and anyone like me who has neck or shoulder problems should be aware that the pillows are enormous. It was impossible to get comfortable. I ended up discarding the pillows and using some folded-up clothes instead of a pillow in order to get any sleep. Also, bad news, there was no hair dryer in the room - I didn't discover that until I had showered and washed my hair."

"An hour after checking in, and during Kent State University graduation weekend, the hotel suffered a power outage. I understand this is a regular occurrence that usually resolves in a few hours. However, when I checked out the next day, power was still out. Third floor hallway was dark, had to use my phone light to find my room (power in my room worked). Strangely, the microwave in my room started buzzing with the glass table circling inside, only way to get it to stop was to unplug it. Elevators didn't work, had to use the stairs. The staff was phenomenal managing a very difficult situation."

"This property was currently under construction when we stayed. I didn’t think to check prior to see if it was under construction and there was no information letting us know prior our arrival. The lobby was turned into a hallway which is fine but made it interesting to enter/exit. The pool has adult only hours the first and last hour the pool is open. My son (15 y/o) was calmly swimming AND was the ONLY person in the pool and was told to get out because it was an adult only swim. Overall, the room was nice and clean and breakfast was okay."

"Restaurant was great. Room was clean but dated. Staff was very helpful and gracious especially with having our dogs with us. Provided a room that accomodated them and easy to take them out. Parking in back was also convenient."
