One thing that felt a little unusual as tourists was being placed very close to the permanent residents in the park, which made the atmosphere feel less like a holiday campground at times. "We were booked into a traditional tent and the description was not clear that there were not private bathroom facilities. The bathroom was lovely but an uphill walk (about 100m) from our tent which proved inconvenient in the pouring rain for middle of the night visits. The tent itself was great and the bed comfortable but had limited shade. The tent heated up like a sauna on the one hot day we had and there was not much relief - a shade cloth over the tent would likely be a reasonable solution...
