"The property is super old and not maintained or cleaned. The rooms have old carpets. Dirty tub, old furniture and valcony sliding door and main room door wouldn't even close. The reservation said it was beach view and when we got there staff informed us they only have partial beach view rooms. Defenitly not worth the money to stay at this ghetto resort."

"There is a sense of luxury just walking up to the hotel but especially once you get inside. I was promptly greeted at the check in desk and was given great customer service. The room was a nice size, had a great view of the ocean, and was clean. The hotel is as close as you can get to the ocean in Galveston. They had several daily activities for both adults and children which was great since we have a young daughter. I would definitely stay here again!"

"The rooms had a mold smell to it and the lamps plugs refrigerator had rust that was very visible and disgusting. I asked daily for room and bathroom to be cleaned they wrote it down and never did it and that’s why I chose a hotel instead of a condo. But the biggest issue was it was infected with German roaches and they moved our room but it was also a roach in my daughter’s bed! Needless to say it wasn’t a pleasant experience. "I honestly don’t understand how this hotel has such high ratings on Expedia because this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we checked in, the staff was unfriendly and seemed more interested in their phones than helping guests. When we entered our room, there was a stale odor, but we were eager to enjoy the beach, so we left without thinking much of it.
